Fashion - Black skinnies outfit 3 Evening

Hey lovelies,
I am back with my first outfit for over a month due to being ill. I'm not back on top form yet but felt up to a few photo's in my backyard as I have missed shooting outfits so much.
So here it is the 3rd in my Black skinny jeans series, the first was work the 2nd weekend and lastly but not least evening style, this has been my favourite look to style up and I love the finished look.

In my opinion you can glam up pretty much anything by sticking on a pair of simple black heels and I love these beauties I've had them years, in fact they where the first pair of shoes my hubby ever bought me so they hold a little place in my heart and they still look great!

I thought I would stick to what I know and go all black with a simple black ribbed top, that actually comes from the kids section at Peacocks!! with a simple blazer over the top and this cute little bag from asos that I picked up in my recent haul
I am so pleased with this outfit I think it looks Chic and great for a dinner date or drinks and I will defo wear this on my next evening out.

Black skinny jeans - Topshop
Heels - Red or Dead (old)
Top - Peacocks (old)
Blazer - Primark (old)
bag - asos (sold out)

I hope you enjoyed this black skinnies series. let me know your favourite look of the three, and give me a cheeky follow for plenty more outfits in the coming weeks I got a sh*t tonne of ideas...

Fashion - Asos Spring Wishlist

Asos Spring Wishlist

Vero Moda white tee,  / ASOS petite top,  / ASOS white sweatshirt / Flight jacket,  / ASOS distressed jeans, / ASOS clothing / Quay cat eye sunglasses

Hey lovelies,
I know it's still cold, but we have had glimpses of sunshine and blue sky's,the mornings are lighter and the days longer, so naturally I'm thinking about my Spring Wardrobe, cause why not?!?  and I'm seriously starting to tire of bulky jumpers and big coats and am pining for the days when we can wear less layers and jackets instead of coats without freezing to death.
In the spring I'm drawn to lighter fabrics in white and navy , who doesn't like a bit of a nautical look in Spring, with lighter blue jeans maybe rolled up to show a bit of ankle, Ooooo risky!!
I'm also desperate to get my hands on a bomber jacket, so reminds me of my youth love that 90's look and they are just perfect for throwing over a Tee or sweatshirt on milder days.
Oh yeah and look at those sunnies? aren't they lush, I do have a few pairs of sunglasses but doesn't stop me needing more.

Are you dreaming of Spring fashion? What items will you be updating in the coming weeks?

Fashion - For the love of stripes

For the love of stripes

Topshop dress / Topshop striped top / Topshop polyester shirt / White top / White skirt / Blue Stripe 3/4 Sleeve Top / Love | Love 2 in 1 Dress in Stripe at ASOS / Esprit | Esprit Double Stripe Jersey Top at ASOS / Pimkie | Pimkie Striped Top With Embellished Neckline at ASOS

Hey lovelies,
If you are a regular reader of my blog or follow me on Instagram, you will know I am a lover of all things striped.
Luckily for me the shops are a wash with stripy pieces (be still my beating heart) so from the comfort of my sick bed I can search the good old internet for more cute striped things to add to my ever growing collection.
It would seem stripes are gonna be a big trend for the Spring and they come in many different forms from the good old Breton style tops, to skirts and dresses and the stripes are not just the typical navy n white or black n white, oh no there are some more colourful pieces like the gorgeous 2 in 1 striped dress from asos which is stunning!! and has been added to my saved items I can tell ya.

Anyway I will keep this short and sweet as I'm still recovering from having kidney stones and should probably be asleep its getting late. I hope to be able to resume my normal weekly outfit posts real soon, so please look out for those,

Do you love stripes? let me know in the comments your fav piece.

Fashion - pretty ear studs

Hey lovelies,
I dunno bout you, but jewellery wise these days. I much prefer pretty dainty pieces, small ear studs and fine chained necklaces. rather then the dangly ear rings and chunky statement neck pieces of the past.
So when I discovered the gorgeous Ear piercing jewellery at Body jewellery shop, I was so excited to try a couple of bits.
I decided to choose 2 pairs firstly heart glitterline black studs* and also the heart glitterline purple studs* both of which are really pretty and have the added bonus of being stainless steel so none of that making your ears sore or turn green marlarky!
I think these are really nice everyday ear studs you can just put in and forget about, and are great for people who are not aloud to wear dangly ear rings at work or school or for anyone like me that just prefers more subtle pieces.

What I loved about the body jewellery shop is they don't just cater for your bog standard ear piercing they sell jewellery for all parts of the body and its clearly labelled with not just the name of the piercing but also with the part of the body, so know confusion about ordering the wrong thing.
I have my nose and belly pierced as well as my ears so will defo be checking out those on there as its hard to find good quality body jewellery at an affordable price.

So if you have piercings of any kind, give these guys a look,
What do you think to these little studs?

Beauty - Lush yummy Mummy shower cream review

Hey lovelies,
You may remember a few weeks ago I visited Lush and picked up a few bits including this Yummy Mummy shower cream and I promised you a little review, well here it is.......
Now the thing is with Lush shower creams they can seem a little on the pricey side at £4.95 for a 100ml, but a little goes a long way and I find they last me quite a while, I am currently alternating between this one and the Snow fairy I picked up at Christmas and I still have plenty of both left.
Now for Yummy Mummy, this has been released to co-inside with Mothers day so I'm not sure how long it will be available for, but if you enjoy Lush's sweeter smelling offerings I think you will enjoy this, it is packed with fair trade cocoa butter and tonka absolute with Brazilian orange and geranium oils, making it smell sweet and delicious without being to sickly or over powering. I adore the smell and love the subtle scent it leaves on my skin. It also of course being from Lush makes me skin feel gorgeously soft as well as clean and I am digging the bright purple colour. I would actually say this is my new favourite scent and I will be sad when you can't buy it anymore.
So lovelies if you like cocoa butter scents get yourself down to Lush and get yourself a bottle of this yummy stuff while you can,

What other shower creams would you recommend? let me know in the comments.

You can see what else I bought in Lush here

Lifestyle - Life and health update

Hey lovelies,
I thought I would just fill you in, with whats going on with me at the moment and why things have been a bit quiet around here.
As you may of known I have been poorly, so here's a quick update I am currently waiting for an appointment at the hospital to see a Urologist and to have a C.T scan, as I have pesky kidney stones and although I have passed an impressive 6 of the buggers I am still in a lot of pain and dosed up on lots of med's so now we need to know what's going on in my kidney, and the professionals can then fix me, and I can finally get on with my life. I never thought I would say this but I just wanna get out of my pj's and wear proper clothes !!!
I have loads of ideas for outfit posts, but as it stands unless your into pajama wearing, pasting looking people with birds nest hair, I don't photograph to well, and I will have to keep those ideas on the back burner until I'm fighting fit again.
Anyway please bare with me I will be posting as and when I can and hopefully soon things will get back to normal.

Thanks for sticking around

Beauty - February Glossybox

Hey lovelies,
Sorry I am a bit late with this months review, but as you may know I've been poorly so do have a good excuse.....
Anyway I was really happy when this months ' Beauty Soulmates' box arrived as it really cheered me up I was feeling really sorry for myself and this box is a cracker and seems to have items inside that I could really do with , which is always a bonus.

The first thing I spotted was the Wilkinson sword intuition razor , this was perfect timing as my current razor has seen better days and this one promises a moisterising and hydrating shave, so I am looking forward to super soft legs. £6.99
Next up was another item that was greatly received and that is the vintage cosmetic company floral slanted tweezers, My current tweezers are crap to want for a better word so I was pretty pleased to see these in this months box and they are a pretty floral design too. £8
If you are a regular to glossybox you will be familiar with the Naobay brand, I love there skincare products so am excited to try this conditioning hair mask , the brand is such good quality and uses natural and organic ingredients so whats not to love. £10.64

Now on to the make up bits I am excited to try this MUA power pout glaze low voltage in the shade serenity its a really pretty pinky shade and it also happens to smell amazing!! £3.50
The last thing I got was this Nicka K New York 24h waterproof eyeliner in dark brown , I am intrigued to try this as I am normally pretty rubbish with eyeliner but this looks interesting being dark brown rather then the traditional black it also has a little sponge the other end for smudging out to give a more smokey effect. £3.99

I am really pleased with this months box and will defo being using everything I received and for the subscription fee of only £10 plus postage is really great value too.

What do you think to this months box ?

For a laid back look I threw on a t-shirt and hoodie combo, and dug out these totally gorgeous Adidas high tops my hubby bought me a couple of years back there suede with a shearling lining so keep my feet lovely and toasty, cause I dunno bout you, but I can't bare cold feet.

Joni jeans - Topshop
T-shirt - Five pound Tee
Hoodie - Topshop (old) similar here
Shoes - Adidas(old)

As you probably know I can't speak high enough of the Topshop Joni's they are just so comfy and versatile, and you can't beat the jeans, tee, hoody and trainers combo when you just wanna be comfy and chilled on the weekend.

Beauty - little lush haul

Hey lovelies,
you may of seen I went on a little shopping spree after pay day and got myself a little haul, you can see what I got here, while on this spree I thought it would be rude not to pop in Lush as I needed a little top up of bath time goodies and you just can't beat lush bubble bars in my opinion, I do love me a bubbly bath of an evening after a long day at work.

Of course I picked up my all time favourite the comforter as I just love its fruity berry scent and I can get 3 or 4 baths out of this little beauty which makes it pretty good value I think.
I also picked up the totally gorgeous unicorn horn cause just look at how pretty it is and I can't wait to use it, there was only a few in my local store so if you want one I would get yourself down to lush asap, cause I reckon these will go quick.

I also picked up the Yummy Mummy shower gel, from Lush's mothers day release and boy does this stuff smell good it has cocoa butter and Brazilian orange and geranium oils in it, so you can just imagine its delicious scent and I can not wait to get using this and I will be sure to let you guys know what it's like. so keep your eyes peeled for a little review.

I hope you liked my little lush haul, let me know your lush recommendations.
