Beauty - Liz Earle cleanse & polish review

Liz Earle cleanse & polish

Hey lovelies,
today I have a little beauty review from skincare brand liz Earle, its her original Cleanse & Polish hot cloth cleanser. I have been using this everyday now for a good 3 weeks so thought I would share with you my thoughts on this well loved cleanser.

I use this every evening to cleanse my skin, I first give my face a wipe with micellar water just because that's what I prefer to do, although you don't need to, I then use one pump of the cleanse and polish and massage into my dry skin,  run the muslin cloth under hand hot water and remove the cleanser from my skin, followed by a  splash of cool water. Its super quick and easy to use, it contains eucalyptus giving it a clean scent not overpowering just fresh.

I have been enjoying the cleanse & polish so much, my face feels so clean and soft after using it, my skin hasn't looked this good in ages. My skins quite oily and this works amazingly well for me, controlling my oilyness without drying out my face but its suitable for all skin types, I know of someone with dry skin who also swears by it. I have tried a lot of skincare out over the years but I defo think this is the nicest most effective cleanser I have used, I am thinking I may need to try other items in the Liz Earle range. As this cleanser has now become my holy grail cleanser.

If you have used other items in the range let me know any recommendations in the comments please.

Lifestyle - Yankee Candle Oud Oasis review

Yankee candle oud oasis review

Hey lovelies,
I have a little Yankee candle review, way back in the Spring I picked up Oud Oasis and Summer peach, you can read the review of Summer Peach, I burnt Summer peach straight away but Oud Oasis seemed to get lost in the stash of candles I have and I completely forgot all about it, until today that is a horrible dreary Monday a day so dark and miserable I have candles burning and fairy lights twinkling not very Summery at all, but its my day off and I have taken it as an opportunity to stay indoors all day doing pretty much nothing...

Anyway onto Oud Oasis, Yankee describe the scent as rich and seductive, with prize incense helps to set a luxurious calming mood, and I would say that was true, I have not really smelt anything like it before but it is defiantly a soft relaxing scent great for layering as its not to overpowering I'm currently burning it with a vanilla candle and the 2 work together perfectly giving off a slightly sweet yet calming fragrance, perfect for burning during the day or evening and would work great in the bathroom when a relaxing bath was in order.

Of course being Yankee the votive size burns for upto 15 hours so at £1.80 are an affordably way to try new fragrances or to buy scents to layer and burn together.

Have you any Yankee candle recommendations?

Lifestyle - say it with Flowercard

Hey lovelies,
Today I have something a little different for you, something I had never heard of, but is such a cute idea sending a Flowercard*, the concept is instead of sending a flower arrangement and card to a friend or loved one send a Flowercard, a small arrangement of flowers mounted inside a card with an added message of you're choice, genius right.

The one I have here is Painted Love* from the new Lisa Stickley range, I just love the soft pinks in this arrangement, but there are loads to choose from,  just add your message and who you want to send it to, then your personislised Flowercard is winging its way to your loved one, simple......

The flowercard comes beautifully packaged and with handy care instructions on how to keep the flowers fresh.

Lovely isn't it? and such a cool idea, if you are looking to send someone flowers maybe to wish them good luck or get well soon why not have a look at Flowercard.

Let me know if you check them out.....

Fashion - Rock Chic in Glasgow

Topshop Guns & Roses T-shirt and black washed denim jacket

Hey lovelies,
If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram you will know that last week my hubby took me to Scotland for a birthday getaway, I used this as an opportunity to of course hit up Topshop and buy a couple of bits, as soon as me and the girls walked in Norwich Topshop the beginning of last week, I new I had to have this Guns & Roses T- shirt it is right up my street I do like to try and look cool and rock chic like, haha and my hubby is G n R's biggest fan so it was fate, and clever old Topshop had this Black washed oversized denim jacket right near it and when I tried them on together the deal was done.

I totally love this outfit and will be wearing it loads in future, we had an awesome time away taking in loads of Glasgow's sights also visiting  Loch lomond which is stunning.

Let me know your thoughts on this outfit and keep your eyes peeled for my second Glasgow outfit.
