Beauty - Liquid health skin hair and nails 1 month update

Liquid health hair skin and nails

Hey lovelies,
You my remember a few weeks back, I wrote a post about my first impressions of Liquid health* hair skin and nails, now I am a month into the course I thought I would share with you my thoughts and talk about any changes I have noticed.

The main area I was looking for improvement was my hair and I can report back my hair condition has improved, but to be fair I have also changed my haircare routine, so can not put it all done to Liquid health, but I do think it has helped.

When it comes to my nails I have noticed a massive change my nails are much stronger and have actually grown without breaking which is unusual for me, normally they hardly grow at all.

The area where I am most pleased with the results is my skin, in the first few days or so I had a few pimples, I'm not sure if that was a coincidence or as a direct result of starting Liquid health, but since then my skin just looks so much clearer and just healthier looking, my complexion definitely has improved.

I still am not keen on the taste, but I must admit these little drinks have really made a huge difference and I am so glad I tried them, as I must admit I was sceptical at first. So if you are thinking of giving Liquid health a go, you should I 100% recommend.

Fashion - Shades of grey

Hey lovelies,
I think Spring may of finally arrived yesterday me and the Mr went to Bury st Edmunds for a stroll round in the sunshine, the sky was blue and everything was right with the world. That's how I feel when it's Sunny, oh sunshine how I've miss you so....
Anyway I decided to wear my lush new Adidas pale grey Gazelles, I have been eyeing these up for ages on Asos but they were always out of stock in my size, so when one day I did my usual check of my saved items, they were in stock, I had to have them.

You can't go wrong with old school adidas in my opinion, and grey is a shade I am totally digging at the moment. I just love it with blue jeans.

I'm also using the floral handbag from my last outfit constantly as I'm in love, perfect for this early Spring weather.

Of course I have featured the cliche Spring photo's of Daffodils, but hey blogger life it's gotta be done. Long may this weather continue, and may we all get plenty more Daffodil pictures.

Beauty - L'oreal hair expertise riche review

L'oreal hair expertise review

Hey lovelies,
I have recently decided to change things up hair care wise as my hair just wasn't happy, it didn't feel as soft as usual in fact it felt quite dry and was looking a bit dull and lacklustre.

So after a some time scrolling through Superdrug's website I decided to try out L'oreal hair expertise range in pure riche nourishing as it claimed to tame very rebellious dry hair, and was on offer at half price so it seemed liked destiny, and I ordered at once.

So does it work ? in a nutshell yeah it does, the shampoo is thick and creamy without feeling heavy on the hair, and rinses easily and the conditioner is so moisterising I applied through the length and ends and left if for a couple of minutes while I shaved my legs and rinsed and even while my hair was still wet I could feel a difference my hair felt softer and was less knotty and tangled.

Once my hair was dried it looked so much shinier than before and felt soft but not weighed down or greasy. For me L'oreal has always been a brand I can trust to provide me with a quality product, and with the pure riche shampoo and conditioner I was not disappointed and feel it is worth it's full rrp of £5.99 a bottle as even with my long hair, I think it's gonna last well as I didn't need tonnes to get a good lather like you do with some cheaper brands.

There are a few different hair types in the L'oreal expertise range and I would 100% recommend giving them a whirl if you're looking to try something new in your hair care routine.

Beauty - Nail of the day with Barry M

Barry M dragon fruit nail polish

Hey lovelies,
I haven't written a nail of the day so far this year, so when I decided to change up my nail colours to more Spring appropriate shades I thought I would share with you what I am currently wearing.

Of course its from Barry M, if you read my blog regularly you will know Barry M is my favourite nail polish brand, and this new Gelly Shade is no exception. Dragon fruit is a gorgeous pastel pink, perfect for Spring/Summer. As with all the Gelly polishes it's glossy and shiny and dries quick, so ideal for me who has zero patience.

What are your favourite nail shades for Spring?

Beauty - Liquid health skin hair and nails first impressions

liquid health skin hair and nails

Hey lovelies,
I am currently road testing Liquid health's skin hair and nails* supplement, and thought I would just share a quick post about how I'm getting on, I'm currently only 10 days into a 3 month course so of course have not noticed any changes, the area I am most keen to see improvement is my hair as it has recently got drier and not as shiney as usual so I am looking forward to seeing if the supplement will help.

The drinks themselves I take every morning with a glass of juice as I'm not overly keen on the flavour, the good thing however is its only a shot size dose so not to hard to get down.

I will check back in a few weeks and fill you in on any changes, I may or may not notice.

Have you tried any skin, hair and nail supplements ? if so did they work?

Fashion - One outfit two Spring trends

Hey lovelies,
Spring is slowly approaching the weather is getting a little warmer and we are having more sunny days, so its time to embrace those new Spring trends that are in store now.
I love slogan tops and its a style I always gravitate towards, with this outfit I have kept it all very monochrome, except for the floral bag, another trend that you will see wherever you shop is floral print and an easy way to style this look is with a floral bag perfect for adding a pop of Springtime to literally any outfit.

Topshop have a tonne of slogan tops but this "sweet life " one is just so soft and cosy I had to have it, although I will no doubt pick up another come pay day.

The River island floral bag was a treat from hubbie, who's proud of me starting a new job, he's a good egg bless him, and I think it's perfect for Spring right through Summer.

What trends are you loving right now?

Every now and then we all need a pamper, an hour or two of pure relaxation and indulgence, and what better way to do that then a soak in the bath using a luxury product to really relax your mind and care for and protect your skin.
That's exactly what this product is perfect for, as you may know I have recently started a new job after being out of work for 3 months, and boy has this took it out of me, so I was so looking forward to trying  I AM WOMAN* indulgent bath salts from Joan Collins beauty, cause If any woman knows about luxury and decadence its Joan Collins.

I love Barry M, and needed to replace my setting spray as I was near the end and I can't be running out of my Barry M mist and fix dewy finish setting spray, I bloody love this stuff, a while back I wrote a little review of it, check it out here if you fancy. Anyway when scouring Superdrugs website I discovered that they had a lovely little offer, where if you spent £8 on Barry M you got a free Chisel cheeks contour kit, and I do love me a free gift, so I decided to add a couple of nail polishes to my order they to where on offer so basically the whole order was a total bargain. Now I love Barry M when it comes to nail polishes, they are my favourite brand, I decided to buy two Gelly finish polishes in the shades dragon fruit and papaya, perfect for Spring, when we eventually get it.

Beauty - Too Faced sweet peach palette

Too faced sweet peach palette

Hey lovelies,
I'll keep this brief as I know you have probably read a tonne of posts on the Too Faced Sweet peach palette, but I just couldn't not write about this palette as I literally haven't used anything else since I got it for Valentines.
First up the packaging is gorgeous, cutesy but not to "young" I think and very sturdy you feel like those precious eyeshadows are safe.
The colour selection is perfect for spring/summer and day to night with 18 shades in a mixture of matte and shimmer finishes, from just peachy a gorgeous shimmery pale pink right through to tempting a deep dark brown this palette has got you covered whatever makeup look you're after.

The eyeshadow quality is second to none with no fall out, and shades that blend beautifully. For a quick day look you can easily just sweep one shade over the lid for an effortless style that won't look rushed, the colour pay off is that good.

As I said it would be brief but I hope you enjoyed my thoughts on the Sweet peach palette, and if you have been toying with picking up this palette my advice is go for it.
