Beauty - My favourite Summer nail polishes

Barry M, Rimmel, Leighton denny

Hey lovelies,

It is allegedly Summer time here in the UK, although as I type this it is pouring with rain outside and I am wearing a jumper, so I am not so sure.

Anyway in the Summer, I tend to change up my nail polish wardrobe going for what I deem more summery shades and here are my current favourites.

I have 3 Barry m polishes in this list and to many of you this will not be a surprise, I often rave on about the quality of their nail varnish. First up my latest addition in my Barry M collection is Pink ice rose gold, a new shade in the molten metal range and it is a gorgeous rose gold shade and looks stunning when worn with either of my other Barry M choices Aloha a shocking pink or Dragon fruit a more pastel shade. As with all the Barry M polishes I have tried these go on easily and dry quickly making them perfect for me.

Another favourite is Apricot Blush* from Leighton Denny, a pretty peachy shade, very Summery and also looks nice with the molten metal shade.

Last up is a bit of a revelation for me and that's Rimmels Port a Loo Blue, I don't normally go for blue shades but I was drawn to it a recent visit to Superdrug, this polish is a stunning shade, and it dries quickly but what really impressed me was its staying power this polish is amazing I am wearing it now 7 days after buying it and it's only just starting to wear around my nail tips and has no big chips, this stuff is seriously good and I will defo be picking up more shades.

You can read some of my recent posts on some of these polishes here and here.

  1. The UK sounds like Melbourne, our weather is so weird here. Although I have to say our last summer was so damn hot that it was actually really unpleasant...

These are all really beautiful shades but I think I love that Apricot shade the most :)

  2. Love bright and cute colours in summer, whereas I tend to grab darker shades in winter. You can just never go wrong with a nude one - can you?
