Beauty - August favourites

Magnitone barefaced cleansing brush

Magnitone barefaced cleansing brush

Hey lovelies,

This month's, monthly favourite's was an easy post as these are all recent additions that I have immediately fell in love with. You know when you just try something and you think YES, this is just what I need, why have I never used/tried this before, well that's how I feel about all these products.
The first thing I'm gonna talk about is the HOTTEST release right now the Naked heat palette*, I have had this since the end of July and I bloody love it I have used it practically everyday since and tbh I can't see that changing anytime soon. I wrote a little first impressions post that has swatches in case you wanna look into this beauty more.

Keeping with new releases the Rimmel #insta range got quite the hype when it was released and after trying the fix and go setting spray I can see why this stuff is soooo good, in fact just as good as many far more expensive setting sprays, defo worth a try in my opinion.

I recently got my hair balayaged, which I love so thought it was about time I upped my haircare routine, I have been loving the L'oreal professional serie expert vitamino color range, and my fav product from the set is the Mask* this makes me coloured hair feel incredible I use it alongside the shampoo, conditioner, and 10 in 1 spray, once a week to really give my hair some serious TLC.

Last but by know means least is my favourite product in this post in fact my favourite product I have tried in a long time, the Magnatone barefaced cleansing brush, I was lucky enough to win the well hyped cleansing brush, and I am so happy, I have wanted to try one for the longest time, and now I have one I am blooming in love. I have only been using the barefaced brush for around two weeks but can already see a difference in my skin and it feels so nice, literally like it's been polished even my husband noticed how soft my skin feels.

What have you been loving recently? I would love to know.

Fashion - three transitional trends I love

Transitional trends Autumn 2017

Hey lovelies,

If you're anything like me, you love checking new in sections on your favourite websites, and following Fashionista's and what they are wearing, so you know what pieces you will be adding to your wardrobe in the upcoming season. Now I love Summer through and through but when it comes to fashion Autumn clothing is something special, the colours change and you can start layering up. I love a good layered look, that way some of your more summery items can keep being worn for that bit longer.

In this post I have picked three of my favourite Trends, that you can start adding to your wardrobe now that will take you through into the cooler months.

First up RED, bold primary colours are everywhere but for me the best of the bunch is red it's so versatile and I think what ever your colouring red will suit you, I know I will defo be adding some red to my Autumn clothing, I'm thinking a red slouchy knit.

The second trend I wanna talk about is checks, this summer checks have been everywhere in the form of gingham, moving into Autumn, the checks have become more traditional colours such as greys and taupes, perfect for pairing with a splash of colour such as red.

Lastly ruffles, frills whatever you wanna call them are a trend that's here to stay and carries on from the Summer into more transitional pieces. I love a good ruffle and I think it gives interest to what could be a plain ordinary outfit and makes it that bit more statement.

What trends will you be buying into this season?

Hey lovelies,

You may remember a few weeks ago I shared a black dress with tan accessories perfect for Summer day wear (read) , well this week I'm sharing this gorgeous little number perfect for late summer evening wear, I wore this outfit on a recent date night with my hubby and I must admit I felt pretty damn fab in it. I added my much lusted after and desired red tassel earrings and a floral bag, for a bit of colour to this otherwise black ensemble, but you could easily keep it an all black look with, a black leather jacket and clutch.

Lifestyle - My love for online interiors shopping

Hey lovelies,

Come on who else spends their evenings like this? checking Twitter on your phone while casually online browsing for new home interior accessories on your laptop or tablet, Multiple tabs open, looking for ideas and inspiration, pinning things on your Pinterest boards and dreaming of Instagram worthy interiors. I can't be the only guilty one. I love shopping and online window shopping of any kind, and when the seasons start to change it makes me wanna switch up my home a bit, you know some new cushions, a throw a lamp, you get the jist. We all want our homes to be our sanctuary a safe place to retreat to and spend time with our love ones, and of course adding some dreamy cushions will heighten the experience. Well that's how I justify it anyway.

Lionshome.co.uk

And I wanna find everything I'm looking for on one website, loads of different brands and retailers all in one place that's where my new discovery Lionshome.co.uk come in. These lot sell everything you could possibly want for your home and stuff you never knew you wanted. I can happily while away an evening with a cuppa and a few biccies, planning and replanning every room in my home. I've recently given my living room a spruce up, but now Autumn is fast approaching, I'm thinking I need more cushions and cosy blankets and throws, I'm not sure my hubbie will agree but hey ho. I have been particularly impressed with the range of colourful cushions in the Cushions section on the website. I'm also digging the mongolian fluffy cushions, I can just imagine snuggling up with a few of them in the colder months although I'll probably have to fight the cat for them, well probably the dog to.

Come on look at this gorgeous pink lovely fluffy thing, how flipping nice would a couple of those look on my grey couch, in fact throw in a couple of the grey ones to it will look even better although I'm not sure how much room for me there would be but oh my wouldn't my couch look very Pinterest.

Keeping with the grey and pink theme of course you can never have too many blankets, you must be getting it by now, this girl likes to get cosy. I like nothing better then taking off my makeup, slipping into my pj's and snuggling on the couch, watching Netflix or a movie, maybe with a hot chocolate, defo with some snacks.

I must admit I love Summer time and spending time outside in the garden, I love nothing more than a big ole bbq and a glass of wine on a warm night, so when it comes to the colder months and those dreary dark evenings, I make up for it by getting full on cosy, I mean full on, I'm talking fleecy pj's, slippers and lots of blankets, basically I hibernate.

Do you spend your evenings doing the same? or is it just me ?

* This post is sponsored by Lionshome but all opinions and waffle about pj's, fluffy blankets, and hot chocolate are all mine.
