My new Mac make-up

Hi everyone today I thought I would share with you my latest Mac purchases. On my recent holiday I decided to visit the duty free shop at Stansted Airport (as you do) and visit the Mac counter.

I decided to pick up an eyeshadow palette and choose this pretty one called Veluxe Pearlfusion in Peachlux as it contains pretty sparkly pinky shades and I love colours like that with a subtle shade and a hint of shimmer. It also contains a couple of darker shades to take you from day to night.

I also chose a new lipstick this ones a Cremesheen finish in the colour Shanghai Spice .I love a pinky nude lipstick and this one is just the perfect shade for me its like my lips only better . I have worn this lipstick loads since buying it and wore it nearly every evening on holiday as its a great everyday shade that just goes with everything. I like the Cremesheen finish as it feels so nice on the lips and not drying.

I'm looking to expand my Mac collection , especially Lipsticks what would you recommend? what's your favourite shades?

Its the weekend

I dunno bout you , but on the weekend I like nothing more then a chilled day , when you pull on jeans and a hoody and get outside.

This weekend myself and my hubby visited the local park , and I used this an opportunity to get out my new River Island Jeggings , OMG I just love them they are so comfy and quite thick so ideal for the transition from Summer to Autumn . They are comfy and stretchy and don't go baggy . so I think worth the £25 price tag.

I also popped on my new cropped hoody , as it was a bit chilly , I love the colour of this, bottle green is not a colour I normally wear but I love this so maybe I should more.

I love this outfit its ideal for those lazy weekend days when you just wanna be cosy and comfy but still look good.
The Jeggings I think are defo gonna become a new staple in my Autumn wardrobe. and I cant wait to wear them more.

What's your favourite transitional items ?

Yankee Candle Review

Today I thought I would share with you some new Yankee Candle tarts I bought recently , I dunno bout you but I just love candles and I love melting the wax tarts in my burner , they are such a good value way of getting that long lasting Yankee sent .

The two tarts I picked up this time where Vanilla Bourbon and Pineapple Cilantro.

Pineapple Cilantro is described as A tropical treat...fresh, island pineapple served with a citrus touch of cilantro and sweet coconut. I love this its defiantly fruity and sweet and there's some coconut in there too and I love coconut.

Vanilla bourbon is described as a traditional warm me up on a cold winter's day. A mug full of something steaming topped with a layer of vanilla cream and laced with a dash of strong bourbon. I think that description is pretty spot on , I defiantly get a vanilla scent ,mixed with a bit of hot chocolate and I hint of whisky , a bit like an ' Irish' hot chocolate kinda smell. I absolutely adore sweet smelling candles and I love anything vanilla , so if you do too you will like this.

Yankee candles claim the scent from the tarts lasts up to 8 hours and I would say the last even more , I only burn half a tart at a time and I find the smell permeates my whole house for many hours , so for only £1.49 they represent excellent value for money.

Whats your favourite Yankee fragrance and what you recommend I try?

An 80's throwback

The 80's the decade of decadence and big hair , I was a small child in the 80's, but whether you remember it or not . we all know that video from Wham ..... Wake me up before you go go!

So when I saw this fun T-shirt with its nod to George Michael back in that video , I just new I had to have it ,,,,,,,, and being a massive Wham fan , when styling it I just couldn't resist and had to take it back to the 80's and wear it with MoM jeans , very similar to those worn back in the day , and black stiletto sandals , a shoe that has never gone out of style .

These New look Jeans I bought a few months ago but there are still similar ones in the shops .

The Sandals I picked up also in New look on a recent shopping trip and as soon as I saw them I new they had to be mine. ( I have a shoe problem ) and these are just so pretty.

The T-shirt I picked up from Ebay for only a fiver !

I love 80's Fashion what decades Fashion inspires you?

Glossy box review

Today I'm going to share with you August's Glossy box , I have been subscribed to Glossy box for about 5/6 months after being recommended the monthly subscription box from a close friend.
I always enjoy the anticipation of what is going to be in each box , and maybe discovering something new .

This months box contained full size products with a value of nearly £60 , making the £10 subscription fee very good value, and gives you the opportunity to try things you may not normally try.

Naobay is a brand I was first introduced to by Glossy box a few months ago when I received a facial scrub from them . I use it  regularly as its a really gentle scrub that makes your skin feel great , so I was delighted when I received this toner in this months box . I have given it a whirl already and its a really fresh toner with a slight citrus scent that made my skin feel clean but hydrated.
Naobay is a quality product that looks great in your bathroom and is made with natural ingredients so whats not to like.

MeMeMe is a brand that is new to me , I received the colour Playful Peach and its a nice coral / peach colour , that would probably suit must colourings . I found it to be well pigmented , I wore it with a gloss over the top as I prefer a more glossy look. I found it lasted a few hours so it has good staying power.

Manna Kadar is an American brand that is also new to me , a lash primer is not something I have ever considered necessary before until I tried this OMG this amazing and by far my favourite  product in this months box. you apply it to the lashes before mascara and it claims to nourish the lashes with B12 and leave them conditioned and voluminous and boy does it , I swear my lashes looked twice as long and much thicker .

Emite Artist colour powder blush a product which claims to be a hybrid of bronzer and blush , this product sounds like an interesting concept that I look forward to trying . It claims to add warmth to your complexion and lightly contour.

Sass purifying cleanser , a gentle intimate cleanser that claims to keep you feeling fresh all day by working as a probiotic to balance skins PH balance. I must admit this is not a product I would think to buy but I will probably give it a go , whats the worse that could happen lol.

All in all I am really pleased with what I received in this months Glossy box .

Anyone else tried any of these products? what do you think of them ?

Shopping and lunch with my girls

Hi everyone today I spent the day with two girlfriends for a much
needed girlie day, consisting of shopping .pizza and ice-cream. What more can a girl want , hahaha

As it was quite a nice day but not hot (this is the UK) I decided to wear jeans I always wear jeans when I don't know what to wear lol.
Today I choose my high waisted ripped knee skinnies from Primark ,I love these jeans and for a tenner you can't go wrong . I do love a Primark bargain , I teamed it with a stripe Tee , I love stripes and have loads of striped tops , I also threw on this white river island blazer as I think it just smartens up the whole outfit and looks like I've made an effort plus helps keep out the chill on cooler days.

While in town after some shopping we visited St Edmundsbury
cathedral and had an ice-cream in the gorgeous Abbey gardens.

Jeans are a staple in my wardrobe and my go to item of clothing , you just can't go wrong with a bit of denim.

what's your go to item of clothing?

Same dress a different way

As you can tell I'm in love with this T-shirt dress . today I've gone for a more laid back vibe.

To make this dress work as a more casual outfit I teamed it with my pink Converse , I love converse and I defiantly need to add some more colours to my shoe collection, hahaha. Thrown over my shoulders I have this cute bottle green cropped hoodie also from , ideal to take you through into the chillier days and evenings. have some really cute things at the moment that just keep tempting me and they do special offers on postage all the time which is good. but not if your trying not spend lol.

Check out my previous post for a more dressed up look with this dress.

T-shirt Dress

My latest obsession is a simple T-shirt dress . its so comfy and versatile , today I teamed it with my lace up booties , fringed suede bag and a bright lip for a take on the boho look.

Yes I love charcoal grey ,there is just something about it that looks so classic . and this dress I just adore it goes with everything. I think it looks classy with my lace up booties and grey bag , but looks equally as nice more casual . on holiday I wore it with simple gold sandals and a black fringed bag.
