September Beauty Favourites

This is my first ever favourite's post I hope you enjoy it as I intend to do one every month ........

So here are my September beauty favourite's ;

The first of my favourite's I'm gonna tell you about are lip products. Even though its now Autumn I'm still loving a nude lip , and this Kate Moss Lipstick no45 is my go to nude at the moment . and I often wear it with the essence lipliner 06 satin mauve , as recommended by my friend Haysparkle , as they just go so well together.
The next lipstick is Revlon Black cherry , a lovely deep berry shade, that's really moisterisng and long lasting , you can see me wearing it on my Instagram.
Last for the lips is Makeup revolutions Rebel with a cause  I love this, I think it's supposed to be a dupe for Mac rebel . I don't know if it is because I don't have the Mac one to compare but it is a lovely shade and such brilliant value at only £1.
Next on to eyeshadow's , I've been using the MUA twelfth night palette as I just love the goldy , brown shades for Autumn/winter. The MUA palettes are such good value at £4.
Right we are nearly there , now nail polish, I love to go dark in the colder months and I recently purchased a set of Tanya Burr polishes from feel unique and my favourite shade is NewYork night a really dark purple shade , that goes on well and lasts a few days without chipping.
Lastly but by no means least is the LA Girl PRO,conceal , I just love this concealer it's just brilliant and hides a multitude of syn's and defo worth a try in my opinion .

Thanks for sticking with it to the end lol! hope you enjoyed my September favourite's .
Let me Know what you have been loving this month,

Autumn Primark Wishlist

In a few days I'm going on a shopping spree to my local primark. as I need some woolies now the weather is turning cooler. I am also going away to Edinburgh for a few days next month and need some suitable bits to wear while site seeing .
So I thought why not compose a little wishlist, as you do!

So I got myself on primark's website and starting scouring for suitable pieces, here's what I came up with :

Obviously I want a coat and I really want a black one this year, as I just think they look classic and this Black faux fur hooded  one certainly ticks the box and its a bargain too at £23.
Tops wise I chose the Taupe striped top £4 ,Cream Jumper £10, and Black chunky rollneck £12 as they are all such good value staples that will mix n match with other pieces in my wardrobe, I also need some new Black jeans and I love Primark jeans and for £13 You can't go wrong, I'm gonna need some thick leggings/tights to wear with a skirt I'm planning on taking with me so will be looking for these leggings £3 when I'm there too, The Boots look perfect for walking around Edinburgh and will keep my feet warm too £15, Lastly I've added this super cute Checked Beanie £3  as it just brings everything together.

I have chosen a few key pieces that will help build my Autumn/winter wardrobe and will be perfect for my trip. Fingers crossed I can get what I want when I go shopping.

I hope you like my wish list, what is your favourite piece?

Yankee candle mini haul

On a recent visit to my local garden centre , I picked up a few Yankee candle bits , the first Item was a Halloween votive which I reviewed HERE !

This is what else I got .....

HOME SWEET HOME , CRANBERRY TWIST AND SPARKLING CINNAMON

The first one I picked up was Home sweet home .this scent is described by Yankee as a heart warming blend of cinnamon , baking spices and a hint of freshly poured tea, and you know what they are right , it is divine I absolutely love this one I think it's perfect for burning this time of the year . It just smells so homely, like something delicious is baking in the oven,

The second was Sparkling Cinnamon , this is described as holiday glow! the spicy warmth of real imported stick cinnamon with a hint of cloves! as you may have guessed I like sweet , spicy fragrances and I adore the smell of cinnamon so just new I would love this. It smells basically of cinnamon , which is all good in my book lol.

The third one I choose was Cranberry twist , Yankee say Its A medley of sharp berries , a hint of citrus zest , and a dash of fresh ginger make a refreshing concoction. This really is fruity and sweet and again just seems right to burn this time of the year. I enjoy berry scents to this is perfect for me.

And as you would expect from Yankee the tarts provide upto 8 hours of fragrance for your home , so I think are brilliant value for money at only £1.49.

I know my next Yankee purchases will probably be Christmas themed as I know they are already in the shops tempting me to buy them , so look out for further Yankee review posts lol!

Hope you liked this post , let me know your thoughts .

September's Glossybox

Its that glorious time again when I receive my GLOSSYBOX subscription , I just love the anticipation , off opening the box and seeing what's inside .

Here is what I got this month;

September's 'The style edition' box did not disappoint , to start with the box itself is just gorgeous , and I will defo be keeping it. Inside the this month I got five full size products that Glossybox say is 'everything you need for a new season' . The product's value is over £60 which is awesome as you only pay £10 a month subscription fee.
Anyway here is what I got ;

Whoever decided what was to be in this month's box must of read my mind as 2 of the things I got, I had been planning on buying , I'm desperate for some new make up brushes , so was pleased to find the Marsk eyeshadow pro brush , which normally retails at £16.70 in my box . I have already tried it and it's a fantastic quality brush.

The next thing I was planning on getting was a hair treatment , so again was super happy to find the Maria Nila colour hair masque. The tub is a massive 250ml tub which I can see lasting for ages , I have already tried this and it's amazing , the thick luxurious cream, made my hair feel super soft and only needed to be applied for 3 minutes, which is great cause lets face it, we don't always have 10/15 minutes to spend on a treatment for our hair. The product is also sulphate and paraben free and 100% vegan. (£18.95)

I also received a Nails Inc polish in a cute dusky pink shade, which looks pretty and I look forward to trying it . The polish retails at £11.

Next up is the Bellapierre shimmer powder , I have tried this and it's a lovely grey/beige colour shimmer eyeshadow which I found to be long lasting and with no fall out when applying.

Lastly I got Invisibobble , a clever spiral design hair bobble that doesn't leave that annoying kink in your hair , and claims not to cause any damage or breakage which is great , as I often tie my hair up,

Overall I was very pleased with what was in my September box and plan on using everything I got.
I would recommend Glossybox to anyone who likes to try new beauty products for the bargain price of only £10 a month.

Do you like the look of this month's box ? I would love to know.

You can see what I got in last months box HERE

Halloween Candy corn Yankee candle

On a recent visit to my local garden centre I decided to pick up a few Yankee Candle bits , the first being this Halloween Votive in Candy Corn.

Although it's not Halloween yet I couldn't resist picking this up to try . Yankee describe this scent as the familiar.sweet scent of candy corn is a fond reminder of Halloween fun and treats .
I agree it's defiantly sweet smelling and has a hint of popcorn about it , As you would expect from yankee candles the smell permeates the whole house in only a few minutes.

If you like sweet scents like me , you are sure to like Candy Corn , and these Votive's are such good value for £1.80 for approx 15 hours of scent , they are a great way to get that Yankee smell for minimal outlay.

Have you tried the new Halloween scents? what do you think?

Flares , back from the 70's

I have been on the look out for some flared Jeans for a while now , but being short I have had a bit of trouble finding the perfect pair that didn't drown me . So I was thrilled when I found this pair on Dorothy Perkins  and all for the bargain
price of £15 !!

Today I decided to wear them with my beloved Aria Public Desire Boots as I love them and they give me that extra
bit of height , and a breton stripped top , but I think they will also look great with a roll neck jumper , when it gets cooler.

I think the flares are great at elongating my legs and with the help of my chunky boots give the impression I'm taller.
I normally only wear skinny jeans but I have really fallen in love with this look.

Sorry if this post is picture heavy we had such good fun taking the photo's , I wanted to share . What do you think of this outfit? would love to know your thoughts.

Mini L.A Girls haul , from Beauty Crowd

Today I thought I would share with you a first impressions of my first mini haul from Beauty Crowd, On my first visit I decided to pick up 3 L.A Girl products as I've heard good things , especially about the PRO.conceal , concealer .

The 3 products I chose where PRO.primer HD eyeshadow primer in nude , the Glazed Lip paint In Elude and of course the PRO.conceal.

Elude is a pretty peachy nude colour that on first impressions seems a nice everyday colour , I've only worn it once so far but it is defo my sort of shade , it has a minty smell about it too , which is different lol ! because its a squeezy tube the application can be a bit tricky but apart from that I like it and look forward to wearing it more. At only £4 I think its a good price .

So far I'm really impressed with this eyeshadow primer I found it did what you want from a primer and made my eyeshadow last and easier to apply ( I have oily eyelids) It is £6 so a good price .

I've saved my favourite till last , I really wanted to try this concealer and I am so glad I did cause I love it . I ordered the shade natural LA Girl and its the perfect shade for me . It has amazing coverage and totally sorted out my under eye bags , which trust me, is not easy, I have really dark circles and need something good to make me look like I've slept , hahaha . It's only a fiver too , which for this quality is fantastic.

All in all I'm really happy with my first Beauty crowd order and look forward to placing further orders , if you haven't used them before I recommend you check them out , they sell loads of brands at good prices.

Have you tried Beauty Crowd ? is there anything you recommend I try ?

Socially Awkward and lace up heels

I recently discovered an online shop called Fivepoundtee.com and was intrigued , so gave it a look and it is does exactly what it says in the name , it sells T-shirts for a fiver , but not just any
T-shirts , really cool slogan shirts. So naturally I ordered a couple (for research purposes obviously lol) .

This one I styled into a monochrome look with some faux leather panel Jeggings I got from boohoo in the sale a couple of months ago for £10 and my lace up heels I got from Ebay for my birthday. I love the casual look the slogan tee gives to the outfit .

There are a few more T-shirts I have my eye on , they also sell sweatshirts which are a bit more expensive but still very reasonable. Now I have tried them and their delivery is quick, and cost only £2.50 , I will defiantly be buying again.

I hope you like this outfit , let me know your thoughts.
