Lush Catastrophe fresh face mask review

Hey lovelies you may remember I went to lush a few weeks ago and I picked up the Catastrophe fresh face mask see what else I picked up  here, and I promised you a full review, well here it is :

I new before I visited lush I wanted to pick up the catastrophe mask as I had heard good things about it and I was not disappointed, as with all the fresh masks they have a use by date and have to be stored in the fridge. So with this in mind I used the mask as a "prescription" for my skin applying every couple of days, this I found had brilliant results. While trailing the mask I was quite poorly with a nasty cold and of course typically broke out with a handful of pimples as I normally do if I'm run down, well Catastrophe mask to the rescue I applied the mask as usual, it feels so cooling and refreshing straight from the fridge and my spots immediately looked a lot less red and angry looking and cleared up completely within 2 days !! Everytime I used the mask my skin felt so clean and I think it has visibly improved the appearance of my skin and defiantly reduced my pores.
The mask itself is quite thick with flecks of blueberries in, and is easy to apply with your fingers to your face, as I said before it feels really cooling on your skin, you leave it on for 10 minutes or so and wash off with warm water. It is ideal for using of an evening in the bath or while having a cuppa in the morning as it doesn't drip or and isn't messy like some masks can be.
I would 100% recommend  the Catastrophe mask if you have oily skin, especially if you have been poorly, stressed or if your skin just needs some tlc!
I hope you found this review helpful I will defiantly be repurchasing this mask next time my skin needs a little bit of help.
In the mean time I may try one of the other masks in the lush range any recommendations gratefully received.
