Lifestyle - Baking banana bread

Hey lovelies,
Today I have something completely different for you, a really simple banana bread recipe, that literally anyone one can bake, it's simple to make, and know fancy ingredients required, so here goes.......

Ingredients:
250g plain flour
1 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
pinch of salt
115g butter
115g dark brown soft sugar
2 eggs
4 mashed over ripe bananas

  1. First things first grease your loaf tin and preheat the oven to 180c.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, bicarb and salt and set aside, you'll come back to it later.
  3. In another large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar, crack in 2 eggs and the mashed bananas and combine gently.
  4. Stir the wet banana mixture into the dry ingredients and combine till everything is moistened.
  5. Pour into prepared loaf tin and pop in the oven for 50-60 mins depending on your oven, mines a fan so takes roughly 50 but keep an eye on it you don't want it to burn. You'll know when its cooked as a skewer inserted in the middle will come out clean,
  6. Remove from oven leave to cool in the tin for 10 mins, then turn out onto a wire rack to finish cooling.
  7. Enjoy a slice with a cuppa !!
See I told you it was super easy peasy, its also delicious and a nice way to spend an hour or two in the kitchen, Perfect for a Sunday afternoon baking sesh!!

I hope you enjoyed this recipe post?
