Fashion - Stepping into Autumn

asos unicorn cardigan

Hey lovelies,
I have another transition into Autumn outfit, now we are nearly into October we are definitely in Autumn but its still pretty mild so far, so for me the perfect transitional piece is a cardigan, its takes your Summer cami tops or Tee's straight into cooler climes, without being to warm as its not really cold enough for a coat as such.

The thing is with this Asos cardi not only is it my new fav colour for Autumn, Navy, but it has UNICORN elbow patches, I repeat UNICORN elbow patches. I mean how fricking cute can you get I am totally in love with it.

Navy and white is such a classic combo add in the pop of burgundy and tada an Autumn colour combo made in heaven. Throw on a pair of ankle boots and you are ready to rock on roll!

What are your Autumn essentials?

Beauty - September Favourites

Hey lovelies,
Its monthly favourites time again, this month there have been so many new things I have been loving I found it really hard to narrow it down so there are a few more bits then I normally have but oh well.........
First up is a food item not a beauty one but I couldn't not have this in a monthly favourites cause I have been absolutely loving them and that's Jim Jams* chocolate spreads, OMG these are amazing I love a dollop of this on my porridge for breakfast or on a bit of toast for a snack, its really chocolaty but low in added sugar so much better for you then regular chocolate spreads. A win win in my book!
Staying vaguely with the foody theme I have been really enjoying using Original source green banana and bamboo milk in the shower it smells like those foam banana sweets, Yum and I just love it.

Next on to skincare, something I have really been getting into lately, and this pairing from Dr.Botanicals* has literally changed the way I look after my skin they are amazing read my full review if you fancy, to find out just how good they are.

Now onto makeup and I have 3 new items I have been loving this month, the first is a nail polish from my favourite brand BarryM and that's this gorgeous Molten metal polish in copper mine its just stunning and great for this time of the year, you can read my full review of that here
This next item I bought on a whim cause it was new lol and that's Rimmel fresher skin foundation, I wasn't expecting to much from this if I'm honest but I have been pleasantly surprised and have found myself reaching for it loads this month, as the name would suggest its a fresher feeling foundation that's lightweight on the skin but has buildable coverage and just looks really natural, great for everyday.
Last but by no means least is L'oreal False lash sculpt mascara, I have always liked L'oreal mascara's so when I needed a new one recently decided to try this one, it does have a weird looking wand but it really works and gets even the smallest of lashes, making them super black and is really lengthening, I love this mascara, the only thing I would say is it takes some work to get off ! but on the plus it doesn't smudge or run throughout the day.

So there you go September's favourites, what have you been enjoying this month?

Hey lovelies,
you may of seen a a couple of weeks ago I did a little nail of the day post featuring Barry M's Molten Metal polish , it was very well received so thought I would share another Autumn favourite nail polish from good old Barry M, Barry M has to be my favourite brand when it comes to nail polish, they are constantly adding to the range with new colours and finishes and I personally love them.

I can't wait to add some more Autumn nail shades to my collection this year and currently Barry M polishes are on offer on Superdrug so I'm off to place a cheeky order !

Fashion - A transition into Autumn look

Transitional Autumn look from newlook and Topshop

Hey lovelies,
I have recently picked up a couple of new items that I think are perfect transitional pieces to happily take me through into the Autumn months. As you may know I love denim in all its forms especially jeans and more especially Topshop jeans and on a recent shopping trip I managed to talk the Mr into buying these ripped offerings, which I love with all my little heart, and new would just look divine with this long sleeved frill detail blouse I picked up in Newlook. I love to mix up styles when planning my outfits and putting these two together along with some (old) Topshop leopard print loafers and a simple black bag (old Topshop)  make for an easy stylish put together look.

What do you think to this transitional look?

Lifestyle - Cranberry Pear Yankee candle tart review

Yankee candle cranberry pear review

Hey lovelies,
I have another Yankee candle tart review for today. now the weather seems to of turned and the evenings are getting darker, its time to get all the candles out and fairy lights on, and this Cranberry Pear scent for me is perfect for this time of the year, it has a distinctly Autumnal feel about it. Crisp pear and sweet cranberry are the perfect combination and remind me of stewed fruit puddings and crumbles, which for me are ideal as I love sweet fruity scents.
As you would expect from Yankee candle the scent of Cranberry Pear soon fills the entire house with its gorgeous fruity scent and lasts for hours and smells great time after time every time its burnt.
I would always recommend the tarts as they are a great way to enjoy the Yankee scent on a budget or to test a new fragrance before committing to one of the more expensive larger candles.
So if you love fruity scents I think you will like Cranberry Pear so defo give it a sniff next time your in store.

Beauty - Upping my skincare with Dr.Botanicals

Dr.Botanicals skincare review

Hey lovelies,
If you have been with me for a while you will know that I have got into skincare in a big way recently, and have been looking to really improve and perfect my routine. After all you only get one FACE so look after it.
I have defiantly discovered its worth spending that extra couple of minutes of an evening using really good skincare and actually enjoy those few minutes extra in the bathroom, and my skin is thanking me for it to.
So for the last few weeks I have been using this little pairing from Dr.Botanicals* and wow can I see a difference in how my skin looks and feels. After I have removed my makeup and cleansed my skin I leave it slightly damp and massage in 3 or 4 drops of the superfood facial oil, now I have never used an oil on my skin as always thought my skin was a bit to oily for that, but this stuff feels amazing sinks right in and doesn't make my skin greasy or break me out. Then on to the overnight renewal cream this stuff looks a bit weird I must admit with a gel like formula rather then a cream like I'm used to, and when you first apply it you look a little plastic and shiny but after a couple of minutes it sinks right into the skin, and a little goes along way so I can see the pot lasting ages.
The true miracle happens in the morning with this overnight pair because when you wake up your skin feels soft and amazing. I can defo notice an improvement in the appearance of my skin and even my hubby commented the other day on how smooth and clear my skin looked, so it must be good if a man noticed haha!!

I would 100% recommend trying some skincare from Dr.Botanicals as I am a definite convert.
