Hey lovelies,
I have recently been going through a rough patch, feelings of anxiety getting the better of me, until last week when I had a melt down, and decided I couldn't go on like this, that it was ok to admit things were not working out for me, and it was the right thing to do to take myself away from a place, situation and people that made me feel this way, I wasn't a failure it just wasn't for me.
I am very lucky to have a supportive husband, who encourages me to look forward not back to move onwards and upwards not sink into self pity, and a way he has helped is by advising me to get outside, go for a walk, and you not what he is right. I have now being going out for regular walks, and it helps, it helps to clear my head, helps me to put things in perspective and it's now helping me to think about my future think about what I wanna do.
This weekend we seized the day and got outside and enjoyed the sun, we visited a local national trust property, we wondered in the grounds and I started to relax, the scenery was stunning, the company was good and the sun was shining.
I have never been what you call outdoorsy, and I nearly always choose to drive rather than walk, but recently I've come to appreciate, getting outside, getting some fresh air and clearing my head and if I get a little bit fitter in the process that's another positive.
So in short, is getting outside good for your health? yeah I think it is.

I find going outside is super helpful, well, when the weather is good. If I spend too much time indoors I get anxious or low mood.
