Fashion - one shirt dress two looks

Day look

Hey lovelies,

I'm finally back with an outfit post, and this is a post I have wanted to shoot for a while but with one thing and another it hadn't happened, but now we have shot this fab New Look Gingham shirt dress, in not one but two looks so this is kinda a bonus, I am so happy how they turned out and I am excited to share them with you.

As you know I am not a massive dress wearer so when I do buy a dress I want it to be versatile and practical, that is why for me the shirt dress is perfect, it can be worn casually in the day as I have shown here, and dressed up for an evening out for dinner or drinks as I will show later on in this post. What I love about this dress is its lightweight fabric is cool but it's not to short or exposes too much flesh as I am not a fan of that.

For this day look, I've plumped for simple lace up sandals, an oversized canvas bag and rose gold sunnies.

Dress - New look
Bag - New look (old)
sandals - Asos (old)
Sunnies - Primark

Evening look

For evening I went for black everything, we all know a black leather jacket literally goes with any outfit, add black mules, belt and bag and tada you have taken the shirt dress for day to night.

Dress - New look
Mules - New look
Bag - Topshop (old)
Belt - Asos (old)

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments which look you liked best?

  1. You look fab in both looks! I love this shirtdress - gingham is totally a winner right now anyway but I love that there are two sizes of gingham on this, thats such a nice touch. The night look is my fave I think :) especially because I'm obsessed with mules at the moment, I have a black pair too and I love the heel height! Sophie xxx

  2. I love shirt dresses and this one looks amazing.
