Fashion - I bought a beret and now I'm practically French

Hey lovelies,

When I was planning this outfit, it didn't include the beret, because I did not yet own said beret. In my head it was all about taking my shirt dress through to Autumn/Winter, when I bought this dress back in early Summer, I knew I could make it cooler weather appropriate, I wasn't sure I was actually going to do it, but I new I could, to be honest a rarely wear dresses when it's cold, but this season I seem to of had a change of heart and I'm wanting to reach for a dress more and more. My first thought was to pop a jumper on over the top, but then when I was rooting through my wardrobe I rediscovered my roll neck collection and that is when this outfit was born. I think a roll neck is an essential in my Winter wardrobe you can pop them on under pretty much anything and you are not only a hell of a lot warmer, they also look pretty chic I think to.

But what about the beret I hear you ask! I have seen a few people rocking a beret on instagram, and since buying my baker boy hat, I have really got a thing for headwear. Fast forward to my recent catch up with my bestie Hayley, and a pop in to accessorize later,  I put this little beauty on my head and that's it, I pretty much became french ! hahaha

I am really loving the monochromatic style to this outfit, I think It just makes the whole look, look more put together, and I can defo see me wearing this combo again and again. Yes I am an outfit repeater! If it ain't broke don't fix it.

As for the beret I am hooked, I bloody love it, it just takes an outfit from a 7 to a solid 10 out 10, and I don't even care a man laughed at me as I drove on to my estate wearing it, he clearly doesn't know fashion darling !!!!
