Hey lovelies,
This year is flying by and we are creeping ever nearer towards the big C, and I dunno about you but I really need to get my act together and start preparing, so with that in mind here is a roundup of some purse friendly gift ideas, for if like me you're on a budget but still like to pick up thoughtful gifts. These gifts are also perfect for stocking fillers, or maybe secret santa gifts.
Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere I go.......
If you are looking for a cutsie gift, Mad beauty have got your back, they have loads of original, retro and even disney themed beauty gifts, I love this Kellogg's vintage bath milk £6.99, how cute would this look on the side of the bath, in your bath loving friends home, this is no stingy present there is 450ml of product in that carton so enough for plenty of bath nights. Sticking with Mad beauty how about the gorgeous pink Makeup/toiletry bag £7.99, featuring the apt quote from the fairy Godmother, in gold detailing, this could even be used to store craft items/pens for a younger recipient.
The gift of a book is always a personal one, I am a massive fan of cooking shows and recipe books, maybe you know someone who is to, if so you can't go wrong with Nadiya's british food adventure £8.00, if you're a bake off fan you will know Nadiya as last years worthy winner, and this girl can cook as well as bake, in this book she puts her own spin on British family favourites.
Going back to beauty, but for the more grown up sophisticated woman, how about the Joan Collins beauty compact duo £16.00, not only is the gold packaging stunning, inside is a powder and a choice of lippie, making this perfect to pop in your handbag for makeup top ups on the go.
When it comes to my nails I love Leighton denny nail polishes, I am lucky enough to own a few shades and they are a high quality polish, so for that reason I would recommend checking out their Christmas gifts, this pretty little set Two of a kind £10, contains two smaller versions of complimentary shades perfect for the party season, and considering a full size bottle is £12, I think this is great value at a tenner.
Last up for the glam party girl, why not some Kiss lashes £7.99, who doesn't want to add a bit of glamour every now and again, especially on a big night out.
I hope you enjoyed my first gift guide of the season and maybe got a few ideas for your own shopping list.
* some of the items featured here where kindly gifted to me, but as ever all opinions are my own
Purse friendly gifts is such a cute idea for xmas. I love the bath milk!
