Hello, hello, 2017 is drawing to a close, and for me it has been a funny old year, but that is a different story. In today's post I'm talking about.......
My Best in Beauty 2017
The beauty products that I reach for on a daily or at least weekly basis, products that I have loved during 2017 and will probably continue to love well into 2018. Being a blogger I am lucky enough to get to try many different products, but there are some things I just come back to time and time again. Makeup and beauty products that have become a staple in my routine, and that I wanna tell you about because I bloody adore them, so enough with the waffling, here are My Best in Beauty 2017
The first thing I wanna talk about is the Magnitone barefaced cleansing brush OMG this thing is amazing, I use it every single morning without fail, and my skin thanks me for it, my skin feels so clean, yet soft not dry and the appearance of my skin has improved so much over the months I have been using it, I couldn't recommend the barefaced cleansing brush enough.
Sticking with gadgets but this time not for the face but for the feet, if you wanna give your tootsies a treat, you should give the Scholl velvet smooth diamond pedi a whirl, this thing is incredible at the not so glamourous job of removing hard skin from your feet, there is nothing more gross than skanky looking feet, so I like to regularly spend a couple of minutes giving them a little buff up, then slathering on some foot cream and fluffy socks.
My all time favourite skincare product and my go to cleanser of choice is Liz Earle's cleanse and Polish, I have been using this for a couple of years now and won't go without it, every evening I use it to remove my makeup and deep clean my skin, it cleans and removes makeup easily with no scrubbing or dragging and my skin feels incredible after.
If you have long hair like me, you might well wanna try L'oreal's 10 in 1 perfecting spray, I spray this in my hair after washing, it's great at untangling my extremely knotty hair, making it easy to brush, it also smooths, protects against heat damage and help to preserve my colour. It does everything I need so I don't need to be putting loads of different products through my hair.
Now I've got the practical things out of the way, lets talk Makeup, I like most women I guess, chop and change my Makeup looks and the products I use, but for me I have some Makeup that I just really like and always use, whatever look I am going for.
For my base I have two products that I love to use Charlotte Tilbury's light wonder foundation in the shade 4 fair, I love a lightweight foundation that perfects my skin while keeping it natural and that is exactly what this foundation does, it is on the pricey side but for me Its worth it as I love the glowy natural finish it gives my skin. On top of that on my T-zone mainly I like to pop on Mac Mineralize skinfinish natural in the shade medium to set my foundation and add a little extra coverage when needed.
Eyeshadow wise, for me the palette of the year has got to be Urban Decay's Naked heat palette* I adore it I use it all the time it's without a doubt my most reached for palette, I love warm toned shades so this was always gonna be a hit with me. The quality is insanely good as with all Urban Decay products and the shades stunning, I highly recommend this palette.
Lastly but by no means least, lipstick, I own a lot of lipsticks, some I wear more than others some are colours I only wear on occasions or at certain times of the year, such as berry or red shades, but on the daily I reach for a nude shade and my favourite is another Charlotte Tilbury item Bitch Perfect, bitch perfect is one of Charlotte's' Kissing lipsticks, it's a creamy peach toned nude shade, it feels nice on the lips and is easy to wear it literally goes with any makeup look, I love it!
Well done you stuck it out to the end, high five!!
I hope you liked my best in beauty 2017, what have you been loving this year?
