My current go to makeup

Everyday makeup

For me, my everyday makeup is pretty simple and uses minimal products, especially if I'm not doing anything in particular. I do of course plaster more on, if I'm going out and especially if I know I am having my picture taken.

For the base, I like to keep things fairly light and fresh unless my skin is particularly playing up. Starting with Mac face and body, my shade is C2, a light sheer coverage foundation that looks like my face just a bit better, next to hide those pesky dark circles its MUR- Conceal and define, I am obsessed with this product the coverage is insanely good and its 4 quid!!! Then I'm back to Mac to set it all in place, for me the Mac's Mineralize skin finish is the best baked powder I've used and I literally use it every single day, it adds a little extra where I need it and keeps my face shine free.

Adding a bit of colour, now my base is perfected lets get putting some colour back, I am pretty lazy with my makeup and don't bother with contour I just tend to bronze my skin up, using the perfect bronzer shade, good old Hoola, from Benefit, now I've got a healthy glow, I reach for 2 products from The Balm, Mary Lou Manizer and Frat boy Both products are really well pigmented and pretty good value, considering I have had mine for ages and they are still going strong.

Now for the eyes, starting with my brows is a product I didn't really expect to like tbh, I have in the past preferred pencils to fill in my brows so didn't think a brow powder would be for me, but in the name of beauty I gave it ago and now I use the Kiss beautiful brow kit* daily to achieve a natural brow shape and fill in little gaps. I have quite a few mascaras on the go at the moment but I am currently really enjoying using Too Faced better than sex, as I love the fluttery look it gives to my lashes. Last up for the eyes I have enjoyed woodwinked from Mac just swept over the lid, for a simple easy to wear everyday look.
