Styling my wide leg striped trousers for Spring

You may have seen my last outfit post, featuring my new favourite trousers from Newlook , well I'm wearing them again because I am literally obsessed. I don't know why I've never worn them before they are the comfiest things ever, yet I feel like I've got my shit together when I've got them on. In my last post I kept the look very monochromatic, with boots and a leather jacket.( Read ) This time I thought I would Spring them up, with a little pop of pink, and bare ankles, not covered by boots, well it is April and we have had like 2 days of sun.

Styling my wide leg striped trousers for Spring

I feel like these trousers lend themselves to being styled in so many ways, I've only worn them casual, but they would look amazing with heels and a "nice" top, instead of jeans on a night out. Also I am so happy its denim jacket season, I love a denim jacket they always look good with pretty much anything, over T Shirt, a sweatshirt, shirt, dress you name they work with a trusty denim jacket. I picked up this washed black one the year before last in Topshop, and its out of the wardrobe again ready for another Spring/Summer of none stop use.

The pink crushed velvet top adds some much wanted colour to this outfit, and it's perfect for Spring as despite being short sleeved, because its so thick it keeps you warm while it's still a bit chilly. The sunglasses are a Primark bargain, I have 2 pairs of these in different colour lenses, I love them and the big aviator size means they hide a multitude of sins and late nights.
