If you have read my last few fashion posts, you will know I am trying to live a little outside my normal comfort zone, fashion wise, and if you haven't shame on you !!!! haha

Anyway, I am a jeans girl, always have been and probably always will be, but I got sick of seeing myself just in jeans, and decided to start trying new things, pieces that I admire on other people but wouldn't normally even try on, for fear of them not suiting me.
This for me has meant trousers, and this black Zara pair is the 3rd I have added to my wardrobe in recent months. Until now I have actively avoided black trousers, reminding me of work clothes or worse school uniform, ugh!
I would recommend checking Zara in store as now they have gone into sale I cannot find these trousers to link, but I'm guessing they may still have pairs in store
BUT, I tried these on, and I felt good, the high waist and wide legs make them flattering on my figure and the stretchy waist means they are comfy. Once purchased I set about styling them in the least smart way possible, haha!! what better way to instantly dress down any outfit then by putting on trainers! I am a massive trainers fan, they are usually my first choice of foot wear with pretty much any outfit.
I am also digging retro and vintage styling at the moment and these NEW BALANCE, remind me of trainers I wore in the 90's, and omg they are the comfiest shoes I own. FYI they are in the sale to, so if you to fancy a pair, best get on that shit!
Keeping with the retro vibe a knotted T-shirt fits well with the high waisted trousers and keeps everything Summery and super casual this 7up one comes from H&M and is not only dirt cheap but really soft, I got it in a medium so it was big enough to knot.
