There are some trends that do the rounds every few seasons, and checks are one of those trends, like animal print it comes back around in Autumn and Winter most years, and this my friends is one of those years.

I love a check, you can be as conservative or as out there as you want, and make the check suitable for all occasions. Think a subtle checked blazer with jeans for work, or full on Cher, in Clueless  yellow two piece , circa 1995, if standing out is your style!

Literally anything goes when it comes to checks, I picked up these large check monochrome leggings on Asos, and for me they are just what I was looking for, monochrome is easy to wear, every colour goes with it, leggings are comfy, but these look a bit more snazzy then black ones, yes I did just write snazzy!!! plus they are thick, so I don't freeze my backside off or indeed show everyone my pants.

I love them here with a T-shirt, denim jacket and trainers, but I'm already thinking oversized knit and chunky ankle boots for when the cold sets in.
