Autumn plans five things to do this Autumn

Hey you guys,

I have finally come round to the idea that Summer is over and it is in fact Autumn,  having a late Summer holiday meant I got to hang on to warm sunny weather for longer and tbh that was hard to let go of ! Controversially Summer is my favourite, I know bloggers have to love Autumn but I am a Summer baby, put me on the beach with the sun on my skin and I am happy, having said that I have come round to the idea that Autumn can involve some nice plans and activities.

So my Autumn plans go a little something like this............

  • Do more walking, yep walking in the countryside is beautiful this time of year, it's not to hot, not to cold and the trees look gorgeous in their golden crowns along with that low Autumn sun, makes ideal walking. I am lucky enough that where I live in Norfolk we are surrounded by woodland and also not that long a drive to the seaside, we are definitely planning an Autumn beach walk, stopping at a dog friendly cafe for coffee of course.
  • The cliche now of visiting a pumpkin patch, I have in fact already visited one with my girl pal Hayley, but it wasn't particularly impressive so a visit to the bigger patch near us will be on the cards soon.
  • Now the next one might seem odd, but weekend pub lunches are something I enjoy in Autumn, especially if you can find one of those cosy pubs that has a fireplace and serves good pub grub. There is something nice about being somewhere cosy enjoying a nice meal when the weather is murky outside.
  • Taking photos and photography is a hobby both myself and my husband enjoy doing together, and now Autumn has arrived we can see what that Autumn setting is all about on the camera 😂
  • Visiting stately homes, may be another one that sounds weird, but bare with me, we are national trust members and have visited a few trust properties, and the grounds and gardens are stunning especially this time of year. Many having there own woodlands or lakes, they make for a lovely way to spend a sunday afternoon, and tbf they always have a tea shop, so there is that too!!

What are your Autumn plans? if you are an Autumn lover let me know what you love doing in Autumn.

  2. These are some ideas for the Autumn season. I've been doing more walking myself and taking so many photos of my walks. I've actually never been to a pumpkin patch but I really want to.
