When it comes to the humble dungarees the perfect pair has always eluded me, they were a thing I admired on other people, but me nope, on me dungarees always equalled looking like a potato.
That is until I stumbled upon this pair from none other than Matalan , I've seen a few instagrammers rocking these beauties, so when I found myself in store, I tried them on with excitement but some trepidation, fearing my normal potato look would appear in the fitting room mirror. BUT I actually like them, the fit is perfect, they are to long but I rolled the legs up, I do believe they also offer them in petite but they weren't in store and I couldn't wait. I went for a 12 mainly cause they didn't have a 10 and I like the fit, and that they give me a little more room. the fabric is stretch denim, and the cut skinny fit, for me a more flattering style than a boyfriend style.
I feel like they have filled a I don't know what to wear hole in my wardrobe, for those days when you want to dress casual and comfy but you don't want to wear jeans. These dungarees are there offering me a helping hand, I love wearing them with the array of roll necks in various colours I already own. Meaning buying one piece has created loads of outfit options when mixed with what's already in my cupboard, not bad for something that cost £22!

I honestly spent months looking for a pair and finally got some in H&M (unisex were the only ones that fitted and I'm a size 12/14).
ReplyDeleteI love the look of these ones though, so I might have to take a trip to Matalan soon!! :) xx
