The word Vegan is on the tip of everyone's tongue these days, with more of us adding vegan food to our diet and of course Veganaury being wildly popular this year. One of my New Year's resolutions is to eat and more importantly cook more vegan meals. That's where the Bosh boys book comes in, I have watched their videos on Facebook and Youtube and it inspired me to get the book and get cooking for myself.
The book itself is lovely to look at with clear instructions and appetising photos. The recipes include familiar meals with a Vegan spin on them, Italian, Asian, mexican, big family dinners, desserts, breakfast, sharing plates and even cocktails, you name it they feature it, all without the need for weird ingredients that are hard to find and cost a bomb. I did need to add a few things to my store cupboard that I don't normally use but they were easy enough to find, eg cans chickpeas, harissa paste,Tahini and Tofu.
The book starts off with a guide to Ingredients to add to your store cupboard, along with examples of how they can be used and what flavour they add to your meals, eg; firm Tofu gives bite and texture, as well as all - important protein, handy if you are not familiar with Vegan cooking.
So far I have tried hummus, and Falafel, Crispy Chilli Tofu and Chocolate and Pecan banana bread, and I have so much more on my list. Everything I have made has been delicious, and the instructions have been easy to follow.
If you are planning on adding more vegan food to your diet, I highly recommend this book, and following my vegan board on Pinterest, I'm always pinning recipe ideas.
