What I Loved in April

What I Loved in April

We are yet again approaching the end of another month, after January taking years to end, the following months have flown by at an alarming rate, and May is nearly upon us. Although if I'm honest that makes me happy as we are away from those dark nights and short days, and into my favourite months of the year.

Anyway enough waffling here is what I have been loving in April.
( some links may be affiliate, which means I earn a few pennies if you buy at know cost to yourself)

First up is a new to me skincare product, Effaclar duo (+) from La Roche - Posay. I had heard of the wonders of this product for problem skin, but had never tried it until, recently when my skin became a problem. Since coming off the pill, I have been more prone to outbreaks, add in being unwell, new meds and hormones and you get the picture. So back in March I decided to place an order and try Effaclar duo (+) a moisteriser that is designed to hydrate, fight spots and prevent new ones. And long story short I bloody love it. Since using it I haven't had one new spot, and my skin is looking and feeling so much clearer, I've only been using the product for just over a month, but already I can't see me using anything else. I highly recommend.

After that long love note about moisteriser, I'm going to keep it brief, so as not to bore you to death. You may remember my post about Elf Makeup, if so then you will know how much I love Elf's flawless finish foundation, it's a dream to use with a great finish and is a bargain to boot.

My favourite book in April was It felt like a Kiss - Sarra Manning, if you like books look out for my what I read in series, with April's coming soon. In the meantime my review of It felt like a kiss is here

I love Spring, and love having Spring flowers in my home, if you are the same you need to check out Haute florist* who kindly gifted me the most beautiful bouquet, that I have been enjoying so much. Check out my blog post if you are looking to send someone flowers. Here

It's been Easter this month or chocolate month, and a new favourite snack has wormed its way into my affections and that's Bournville chocolate buttons, they are not only delicious but dairy free, so great if you can't eat dairy like me or are Vegan.

Last but by Know means least my fashion favourite this month, especially over that glorious weekend we had has to be my Newlook floral midi dress , it's the perfect spring summer dress, check out my post here.
