Culottes the unsung hero of my wardrobe

Culottes the unsung hero of my wardrobe

Culottes are a fairly recent addition to my Spring and Summer wardrobe. They first made an appearance last year and I'm loving them even more this Summertime. I honestly thought being short meant I couldn't wear Culottes, but since having tried them I'm hopeful they look ok... as I just love how easy they are to wear.

They are perfect for warm days the cut of culottes makes them a much cooler alternative then skinny trousers or jeans. They also look great with sandals especially a pair with a heel, even a small amount of lift looks super flattering with culottes. They come in loads of fabrics, this pair is a jersey denim fabric from Next but I also own more lightweight pairs. They also look great plain or patterned, especially stripes.

The culotte trousers have become a staple in my wardrobe, due to there versatility, Casual, work, evening you name the setting, culottes will work.
