You guys know I love trying new beauty products, so when I was asked to try out the Procoal foot mask I was intrigued.
I must admit my feet are a bugbear of mine, I suffer terribly with dry hard skin, not a particularly attractive look I must admit. I have tried many products, with varying results. The problem is I don't help myself, I walk around at home barefoot, and rarely where socks, meaning my feet are getting the raw end of the deal.
The Procoal premium peel away mask, promises visibly smoother feet in two weeks, with dead skin peeling away in 5 to 7 days, so it sounded worth a shot.
The mask is easy to use, just wash and dry your feet, put on the foot mask socks, leave for 60/90 minutes then remove and rinse.
The special formula in the mask, (caster oil, salicylic acid and seawater, infused with lemon, papaya, citrus, apple and chamomile) feels a bit weird when you are wearing the socks, kind of cold but not uncomfortable, of course you also have to sit still for an hour and a half, so get snacks and the remote at close reach and relax.
So does it work?
Yes it did work for me, but it did take the full two weeks for my feet to look better. My skin was peeling for quite a few days, it started about 5/6 days after application and I must admit to start with I thought is this working, as although my skin felt softer, they didn't look any different, until the peeling started, then my feet definitely looked worse before they looked better. I felt a little like a snake shedding its skin.
The skin on my feet now feel so soft and look 100% better, but be warned if you try this product, it's not a quick fix, and your feet will look worse before they get better, although it took a while I'm pleased with the results and would recommend.
You can buy the procoal premium peel away foot mask for £8.99
