What I've been buying lately for my home
You may of noticed an influx of lifestyle and interiors posts on Kate's Closet, that's because we are currently doing some work on our home. We are having new windows installed in the next couple of weeks, we are also currently decorating my youngest son's bedroom, oh and renovating the downstairs loo, as well as preparing the house for Autumn. So it's gonna be pretty full on here for the next few weeks. I can't wait to get out the other side. Today's post is all about what I have been spending my pennies on lately, in case you need some inspo and ideas for your home decor.
First up, You guys no I love Etsy, and I've been shopping hard again on the website, here's what I've been buying recently, first up is this cute map of Norfolk from Pepper Pot Studios, I love the fun design and think it's really different to anything else I've seen. I plan on popping it up in my downstairs loo, once its renovated. The shop has loads to choose from, I bet you could find where you live to. (affiliate links)

Also from Etsy, these to die for wire words pictured above, they look fabulous in my front room, and are a nod to my late mother in law, who was a massive Queen and Freddie Mercury fan. Who doesn't need a kind of magic every now and again!!

Another great place to shop for homeware is Ebay, with so many stores selling furniture it is a great way to find pieces for your home for a reasonable price, I picked up this bookcase for 2/3 rds of the price of one that looks the same from Wayfair. I had been struggling to find one to fit our space and this one fits perfect.

A company I have recently discovered is make my blinds, they make made to measure blinds for you to install yourself at home. We love ours and are planning on ordering more. They do everything from wooden blinds, to vertical, roman and roller. Just measure your windows and order the size you need, when they arrive follow the easy to install instructions, and tada great looking windows.

La redoute is a store I bloomin love, although it can be pricey, I usually take advantage of discounts and special offers, such as 30% off homeware. I have a few pieces from the site including a mirror, rug and these ever so handy shelves, we use to store our vinyl collection, which admittedly is quite small, but we are working on it. I think they look cool in our little music corner.

Keep your eyes peeled there is loads more interiors content coming your way in the coming weeks.
