2019 has had its ups n downs for me and my family, like many of you I'm sure, but I intend to try and make the rest of this year the best it can be, and I have a few goals I would like to complete.
House
This year has seen quite a few changes in our home, with some decorating, new furniture and windows, but I still have more, I would like to get done before the year is out.
- Downstairs loo renovation, we have this all planned just waiting on my dad to help us with the work.
- Decorating my eldest sons room, including buying a new bed, we know what we want to do, just got to pull my finger out and get started.
Fitness
You may of read my post about starting my fitness journey, if so you will know, me and my husband have started training three times a week at the gym. I'm trying to not only feel fitter and healthier but I want to get leaner and stronger. I'm improving every time, and have gone up weights on the machines and worked hard to perfect my technique. But there are things I'm not strong enough to do yet, such as bench press or deadlift and I hope to be able to by the end of the year.
Family
I really want to fit in more quality family time, over the next couple of months, it's difficult with everyone's schedule and commitments but I'm determined, whether its a bowling evening, or Sunday lunch, just more time to be together, talk, and have fun.
Christmas
I always make a big effort at Christmas, as both the boys are home and it's an opportunity for quality family time. This year I want to make it extra special, as like I said we have had some tough times recently.
I hope the rest of 2019 is good to you.

Simple and achievable goals. I really can't wait for Christmas either, it'll be the first one with my dad in years as he lives in China. Quality times, are the best.
