Book review - Beyond the Moon - Catherine Taylor

I had been in a bit of a reading slump until catherine sent me her book Beyond the Moon, as soon as I got started, I knew I was going to Love it and read the book in three days flat, something I haven't done for a while.

Beyond the Moon - Catherine Taylor ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What if love could last more than just one lifetime.....?

Beyond the moon is set in both 1916 and 2017. Coldbrook hall an old Victorian hospital used as a convalescent home for soldiers injured in the great war, is in 2017, a psychiatric unit, a place that Louisa Casson finds herself after the death of her grandmother, and subsequent drunken fall off the cliffs, believed by doctors to have been an attempt on her own life. The treatment in the unit is shocking, and Louisa starts to believe she will never be believed or let out. One day after sneaking into a deserted derelict wing of the hospital, Louisa answers a call for help and somehow finds herself in the room of lieutenant Robert Lovett, a soldier who's at Coldbrook hall, to recover from his injuries sustained in the battle of the Somme, but how could she that was a hundred years ago?

The story follows both Robert and Louisa in there lives a hundred years apart, Robert in the war and Louisa in a different battle of her own.

Will Robert and Louisa every be together or are they destined to forever meet in a time and place that can't be real, or can it?

If you like a love story with a difference, definitely read Beyond the Moon. I've not read anything like it before. 100% recommend.
