When it comes to purchasing clothes, beauty, furniture and other items often products are produced in factories thousands of miles away. In today's world we are encouraged to buy more locally and to support British business, but this isn't always easy, how do we know, where things are made, the conditions they are made in and how they are transported, quick answer we don't!
Made in Great Britain is a new website directory, offering just that a directory of companies based here in the UK. An easy way to find anything from clothing to interiors all manufactured right here.
When looking through the made in Great Britain website, I found all sorts of products and businesses from Ethical cruelty free beauty products, luxury handbags, Artisan Gins and even kitchens.
If shopping products made closer to home is something you are interested in, check out Madeingreatbritain.uk. You will probably find companies you know and recognise and some that are new to you, companies are being added all the time, as more British brands sign up to the directory looking for your business.
