2019 is the first year I have set myself a reading challenge, and I am pleased that I have far exceeded my initial book total for the year, I did in fact raise my expected yearly total and have still exceeded that. This year I didn't plan any reads and just read books as and when I saw something that took my fancy, or I had read reviews on. 2020 I am planning a bit more and already have a list of books I want to read. So I thought I would share them with you, In case you to are planning next years books and need some ideas of what to add to your tbr pile.
- The Hunting Party - Lucy Foley
- So Lucky - Dawn O Porter
- One of us is lying - Karen M Mcmanus
- Two can keep a secret - Karen M Mcmanus
- Muse of Nightmares - Liani Taylor
- Strange the Dreamer - Liani Taylor
- His Dark materials trilogy, Northern lights, The subtle Knife, The amber spyglass - Philip Pullman
- Home - Julie Andrews
- Homework - Julie Andrews
- A good girls guide to Murder - Holly Jackson
- The Winternight Trilogy, The Bear and the Nightingale, The girl in the tower, The winter of the witch - Katherine Arden
- Becoming - Michelle Obama
- Normal People - Sally Rooney
Many of these books are recommendations, some I have read reviews for and immediately knew I needed to read and some are written by authors I have discovered this year, and want to read more from.
As you can see from the list I like a variety of genres, I love to find something different from what I have read before. So if you have any recommendations of great books to add to this list do let me know in the comments.
Look out for my December, what I read post and my yearly reading wrap up, both coming soon.
Check out my goodreads profile to see what I'm currently reading.
