The days have started getting longer, which means Spring is on its way, I for one can't wait to see the back of Winter. After Summer Spring is my favourite, I always feel it spells such promise, for warmer brighter days, being able to have the windows open, letting in some fresh air, and being able to venture out into the garden.
Spring is the perfect time for a little refresh at home, to start stripping back the winter accessories for a lighter feel. I always like to switch things up a bit seasonally whether its swapping out fluffy blankets for lighter throws, or adding greenery or flowers, these things all help to lift your home for Spring.
This Spring we are actually planning quite a big project, our main bathroom renovation, something that has been a long time coming, I can tell you. So as well as looking for pieces to lighten my rooms, I am looking for accessories for a new bathroom.
Here is getting my getting my home ready for Spring wishlist.

Rattan/ wicker is everywhere and is becoming a huge trend for 2020. I already own a wicker chest of drawers, that I've had for over 20 years and still love, so I will most definitely be adding more to my home in the coming months. That H&M plant stand is number one on my list as soon as I saw it appearing on instagram in people's homes I knew I needed one, now just to decide where to put it. My plans for the bathroom will be shared in a post at a later date, but those pale green towels are a hint at the theme I'm planning.
Do you update your home seasonally?
Let me know in the comments your home plans this Spring.

Thanks so much, I'm gonna need to add more rattan though that's for sure. x
DeleteI can't wait to be at the stage in our home when I can refresh for Spring. One of the main things I like to do is switch out the pillows haha ! :-)
