The Somerset toiletry company

Gifted products
Being a blogger means I am lucky enough to be able to try quite a few products, some of which don't really do it for me and some of which do. I always like to do a bit of research about the brand, so I can give you my honest opinion on not only the products I received but on the brand itself.

The Somerset toiletry company

The Somerset toiletry company kindly offered to send me some of their scented body and home products to try out. I hadn't heard of them before, but upon checking out the website, I learnt they create products using natural ingredients, that are very reasonably priced unlike other brands in the sector. They are also cruelty free and are working towards making their packaging more sustainable, with an on going pledge to reduce plastic and increase packaging that can be recycled and or is biodegradable. They also have a vegan range.

The Somerset toiletry company makes beautiful looking products making them a great choice when choosing a gift, or of course as a treat to yourself. They spend a lot of time creating attractive packaging as well as beautifully scented products.

The Somerset toiletry company ginger and lime candle

I love fruity, fresh scents and was so pleased with the products I received. the scents are really natural and vibrant. The Ginger and Lime naturally scented candle is my new favourite, it fills the house with a zingy fragrance when lit, and even when it's not its scent still lingers in the room.

I also have a hand wash and lip balm in the same Ginger and Lime scent and a coconut and lime scented sugar body scrub, which smells incredible in the shower. Everything I have tried, I really like, the handwash looks stylish in my downstairs loo, and leaves hands smelling incredible, and as for that scrub, I am obsessed, my skin feels so soft after use and I smell pretty damn good, if I say so  myself.

“We are on a path to ensure we become as environmentally sustainable as quickly as we can, as innovative new materials emerge.”

Sakina Buoy – Chairman

I have been really impressed with the products I have tried, and I like the companies honesty about their pledge to do their bit in reducing plastic waste. They are currently transitioning into using new packaging while still doing on going research in order to do as much as they can to reduce the impact of their products on the environment.

Candle - £12.95
Hand wash - £7.95
Lip balm - £4.95
Sugar scrub - £7.45

This is a brand worth checking out, if you like naturally scented products, they have a large range including bath, body, and hand products as well as scented products for your home.
