What I've been loving lately

I've had a funny old few weeks, with lots of stuff going on in the background, but I guess life is like that, here's hoping things will get on track soon. Anyway I've still found time to enjoy some things and I thought I would share with you what I've been loving lately. This time there's everything from a TV show, homewares and beauty bits, so carry on reading to find out more.

Dunelm nova dark blue blackout curtains

First up our new blackout curtains from Dunelm, recently I took to Twitter to ask for recommendations for bedroom curtains, and the overwhelming response was Dunelm. So I took the advice on board opened my laptop and found the Nova dark blue blackout curtains for £30 they were just what we where after. We decorated the bedroom over a year ago now, recently I decided to add a bit of navy to the room to to tie in with the headboard, and to block out the sun in the mornings. I am not a morning person and I DO NOT want the sun waking me up, before my allotted beauty sleep has elapsed. I'm after a bed throw or bedspread next in Navy, so if you know of any, let me know in the comments if you would be so kind.

Next up in a TV show, we loved and binged watched in a weekend and that's THE STRANGER on Netflix. If you haven't seen it, this weekend's crappy weather is the perfect opportunity to get stuck in. Its quite intense and had us gripped, totally recommend.

YSL black opium

Lastly a couple of beauty bits I have been enjoying. YSL black opium is my go to winter scent and I have repurchased several times. The classic dark sensual perfume, just makes me feel sophisticated and like I've got my Sh*t together, I haven't actually got anything together but it sets that illusion, you know ?!?

When it comes to sugar scrubs you do not get zestier than the coconut and lime one from Somerset toiletry company. I was gifted it a few weeks ago along with a few other bits and OMG I am obsessed. It smells so zingy and fresh and really works to leave my skin smooth and get rid of dead, dry skin. It works great all over the body, but I have found it particularly effective on my feet, helping to eliminate that crocodile effect I had going on !

Check out my thoughts on Somerset toiletry company, and let me know if you like the sound of their products.
